high school formal

calling all uber-glam, sassy, young ladies...and especially the doting mums...check out our unique high school formal storyboards we have created for this "coming of age" ceremony...

far more stirking than the snap shot in front of the cream curtains with home and away on the tele and Dad eating his bangers and mash for dinner on the recliner...

what do you think?

nathan and justine 28th december 2007

nathan and justine celebrated their wedding with an intimate and casual ceremony at the Registry Office in Perth and a sumptious lunch at the Old Swan Brewery on the banks of the Swan River. family and close friends (hey, including us!) enjoyed fine wine, cold beer, a gentle breeze and picture perfect views of the swan river...
nathan and justine have been smitten for years ... and then nathan decided to travel the world for eight years. upon his return, the beautiful justine was even more beautiful ... nathan kicked himself, thanked the heavens and promptly proposed ...
mike and nathan - however - go back even further ... think skinny jeans, desert boots, tight t-shirts and garage days (and many noisy nights) jamming to "a long way to the top" ...

justines very stylish and individual gown...

joined together with super stylish and rockin black stilettos...

my ansy pansy ring shot...

hey, heres nathan ... now dont be confused about how much he looks like the lead singer from simply red ... nathan is far more good looking ...

how nathan could possibly be away from this gorgeous lady for 8 years is beyond me ... justine smiled and laughed and joked and smiled and laughed all day ... and treated us like long lost friends ... a truly beautiful lady, inside and out ...

it was just a short walk to the Registry Office in Perth ... we followed and pretended to be the paparazzi (only nicer) and nathan and justine were famous (only nicer)

quietly we waited for our turn ... or as quiet as a group of friends all excited about a wedding can wait ... i'm surprised we werent asked to wait outside! ...

we were then shown into a little room and asked to wait quietly once more ... so didnt happen ...

a few images from the emotional ceremony ...

justines mum ... a tad teary ...

nathans mum ... ditto

dads always give the best bear hugs ...

great images from the walk back to the hotel ... we are normally surrounded by gardens, river and oceans ... so the architecture and buildings were a real treat ...

the chifley has a lovely foyer area ... a few more portraits of the stunning justine ...

the names bond ... nathan bond ...

nathan and justine then jumped in our car and we headed off to the Brewery, with a couple of stops at pretty places on the way ...

nathan and justine enjoyed their day to the full ... they were so happy and relaxed, just being together ... it was so easy to capture such gorgeous images ...

love this set ... no idea what justine was whispering ... but it must have been real good ...

"thumbs up" ... all good ...

the guests! ... lovely to meet you all ...

the lovely bouquet ... justine was so happy with this bouquet ... her original one purchased locally and bought to Perth died dismally ... this one was found and purchased for half the price and was twice as nice ...

mike found this striking hallway for a few "bridal waltz" images ... justine and nathan, as always, were happy to oblige ...

my FAVE image of the day ... posed by alluring justine, encouraged by a spirited nathan, shot by mike, and lovingly post-processed by me ...

now here is a shot of our dessert ... cant remember what this was called ... but the fuzzy green stuff on top was the source of much amusement on our table ...

the love of my life looking decidely - well, stupid - with the fuzzy green stuff under his nose ...

and the best man - looking slightly even more stupid with the fuzzy green stuff in his ears ...

the happy couple ...

and by the end of the afternoon ... the larrikan in nathan surfaces and I capture this great image ...

to the effervescent justine and supremely jolly nathan - thank you! we feel extremely privileged to be included in your close circle of family and friends who joined you both on your incredible wedding day. it was fun, relaxed, enjoyable and very stylish ...
mike and i wish you all of lifes best, each and every day that you spend laughing with each other ...
for those in the know - mike's shot of justine is damn fine, further enhanced by yours truly - so you be the judge ...
